About Daniel
Practical, honest, and focused on what actually helps.

Based in Clarkesville, Daniel works with individuals across Habersham County and the broader North Georgia area — including Cleveland, Cornelia, Toccoa, Demorest, and Helen. His style is direct, calm, and practical. Sessions are a place to be honest about what is hard, understand the pattern underneath it, and practice small, real changes that add up.
He brings extensive experience with addiction, recovery, and accountability, and works with couples as well. If those fit your situation better, his addiction & recovery counseling and marriage & couples counseling can help too.

What therapy helps with
You do not have to wait until it is a crisis.
A lot of people come to therapy not because everything fell apart, but because they are tired of carrying it alone. Counseling helps you work on what is underneath the stress and the low days, not just the hard week.
- Anxiety, worry, and a mind that will not slow down
- Depression, low motivation, and feeling stuck
- Stress, burnout, and carrying more than you can hold
- Grief and loss, and the weight that comes after
- Life transitions — a move, a job, a relationship, a new season
- Self-worth, boundaries, and patterns that keep repeating
How the work helps
Real tools, real honesty, at your pace.
Therapy is not just talking about the week. Together you slow things down, notice the patterns that keep pulling you back, and practice a different response until it starts to feel like yours.
- A calm, judgment-free place to say what is really going on
- Practical tools you can use between sessions, not just talk
- Honesty about what is working and what needs to change
- Faith-based support available whenever you want it
A calm place to start
The first session is simply about getting to know what you are dealing with and what you want to be different. No pressure, no judgment — just a starting point, and a plan you can actually follow.
If you are in crisis, reach out now.
Therapy is not emergency care. If you are thinking about harming yourself or someone else, or you are in immediate danger, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. Support is available right now.
